OUR STORY
L&Y Dental practices are fully private dental practices owned by Dr Yasmin Anaboussi and Lakshmi Rao.
It appears that, now-a-days, there seem to be only two kinds of private dental practices:
- A small practice with only one or two dentists, where they only offer limited treatments under one roof and
- The ‘commercially focussed’ practices, where patients are not the first and main priority.
This is where L&Y can make a difference; our dream of developing a dental care centre where patients are number one priority.
We provide all kinds of dental services maintaining the community ethos and providing the facilities of various payment options for patients so they can afford high quality dental treatments.
OUR VISION
Hello! We are Dr Yasmin Anaboussi and Lakshmi Rao, co-founders of L&Y Dental.
When we started our project, we had a dream of developing a dental care centre where patients are the number one priority. We achieve this by providing all kinds of dental services maintaining the community ethos and providing the facilities of various payment options for patients so they can afford high-quality dental treatments.
Four pillars that make us different from other practices:
1) We invest in time and technology for patients and our team (we never rush!)
2) We have processes and protocols in place so all the patients get the same ‘L&Y dental Experience!”
3) We provide all the treatments under the same roof (no more referrals and waiting lists!)

WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT
L&Y Dental will do a step forward in the field of dentistry. There are four main key factors that makes us different to any other private practice in the UK.
OUR BACKGROUND
Both have background in dental sector: Yasmin as a dentist in clinical management and Lakshmi in operations and business management. And this is what makes the perfect tandem for our practice to work; we have all pillars to succeed under control.
From our experience working in different organisations, we realised that the reason why some big dental corporates fail is due to solely focusing on commercial targets and too little emphasis on patient experience, wellbeing, quality of service and feedback. What is the point on doing a ‘big treatment plan’ for a patient and charge them huge amounts of money, if the patient is not going to recommend the service to their friends or family as they are not very happy with their overall treatment at the practice. The patient will not continue their life-long oral journey with the practice, which is what L&Y aim to do, provide patients with their life-long oral health.
We will achieve this by offering all the benefits of a dental corporate: all treatments in the same premises, latest technology and affordable payment plans. In addition, we will keep the best-practice performance: stable team, great experts and putting patient’s best interest first.
